Getting to the Glacier takes some time. You have to drive, then take a ferry, and then another 20 minute hike to the base. Then it is up the rocky mountain to get to the end of it. Did I mention the Norwegians love to hike? Until you get on top of it....you just can't appreciate the size of this thing.
