Photography 10 is a 3-unit course consisting of 5 hours of lecture and lab and a minimum of 4 hours of homework weekly. The homework consists primarily of picture taking and some memorization of processes.
The class is designed to acquaint students with basic skills in camera handling techniques with an emphasis on problem solving, creative expression and traditional, (classic) darkroom techniques. Previous knowledge of a manual camera operation is preferable but not necessary. Students will shoot, process and print black and white film. Sharing and discussing your work is a class a requirement.
